Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

• Build and maintain systems and applications that provide basic network services.<\/li>
• Participate in service projects, architectural planning, and basic network services.<\/li>
• Network service design and troubleshooting assistance. Identifying maintenance and cost savings opportunities to improve platform efficiency.<\/li>
• Participates in network service budgeting for lifecycle and risk management, including activities such as lifecycle management and service improvement planning.<\/li>
• Setup routers and switches, hosted IP voice services, and firewalls.<\/li>
• Bringing network equipment up to date with the most recent firmware updates. <\/li>
• Informing important stakeholders on the state of the network.<\/li>
• Create, design, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.<\/li>
• Ensure the safety of data, network access, and backup systems.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

  Ideal Candidate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  An ideal candidate will have the following attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Excellent knowledge of network infrastructure and network devices.<\/li>
  • The ability to consider issues and picture solutions.<\/li>
  • Capability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices such as wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.<\/li>
  • Understanding of application transport protocols as well as network architecture. The ability to build and plan network communication systems using precise network diagrams and documentation.<\/li>
  • The capacity to learn new or unfamiliar technology and products fast through the use of documentation and Internet resources.<\/li>
  • Capability to collaborate with all levels of workers within and outside of IT and the company.<\/li>
  • A self-starter who can work independently but is also at ease in a collaborative setting.<\/li>
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Dependable and adaptable.<\/li>
